The OCEAN stands for The OKlahoma Center for Evolutionary ANALYsis.

 

OCEAN is housed in the Department of Psychology at Oklahoma State University, and IT incorporates faculty and graduate students from across disciplinary boundaries---each of whom uses an evolutionary approach to understand social cognition + behavior.

 

Founded in 2019 by Dr. Byrd-Craven and Dr. Krems, OCEAN fosters cross-cutting programs of research, trains future research faculty, and engages in educational outreach via FOSSIL and our OCEAN Speaker Series.
